Hello ladies!
You'll know that this Thursday is the first club race of the league. It doesn't attract points for either league so it would be a really good, fun way to try it out. It will my first ever club race!
If you are interested in taking part, we can discuss groups and handicaps on the night, so don't be worrying about that aspect.
If you don't want to race, it would be brilliant if you could come along anyway to see what it's all about. If nothing else it would be a great photo opportunity - we really need a more up to date photo on the women's section of the website!! If you have a club jersey, bring it. If not, I will be bringing spares.
The week after is a 2 up TT on the Downpatrick Road, a really nice course. Maybe start to think about who you can partner up with. If you can't get someone, you can ride it solo - that's what I've done the last few times.
Keri and Aoife, if you're reading this, I notice that you have your name down to marshal for a couple of the races that count towards the women's league. There are only three races (Flatfield, Kinallen and Anahilt) in our league so if you want to do these you could maybe think about changing...?
