Last run down the tow path tonight. Clocks change back on Sunday. Club league starts next Thursday.
Garry has suggested that tonight's run should be a "coffee run".
Graham B and Michael McG have confirmed so far and I'll be there too.
If you are interested in coming along please let me know (martin@dromaracc.co.uk)

Got home from work, dry evening. Got changed then looked out to driving rain. He ho, headed down to the Civic centre anyway. By the time I got there the rain had stopped Garry W, Colin R, Graham B and Michael McG joined me as we set off just after 7pm. Garry and I at the front setting a nice pace. Met up with good friend to the club John R. We 6 then went down past the footbridge and turned left and up past Mary Peter's track to the trail head. Had a quick buzz through here then exited at Shaw's bridge. Headed on down to Stranmillis, up Stranmillis Road, University Road, Elmwood Avenue to Starbucks. Tea and coffees. Time to sit for a chat. Back on the bikes. John R said goodbye on Stranmillis Road. The rest of us headed back to Shaw's. Met up with Smoff (Phoenix CC). Took to the trails back to Mary Peters. Crossed over to Lady Dixon and then back to the tow path. Garry up front on his own, Colin and I in row 2 and Graham and Michael behind. Good steady pace. At Lambeg though Garry set off. Far too early! I tried to give chase but wasn't gaining on him. Graham on his 29er went past me and got up to Garry but didn't get past him. We disqualified Garry from the win as he 'jumped the gun' Great night. Stayed dry all evening. Roll on next Thursday for the start of the TTs.

Oi Martin, I passed Garry about 20 metres before the finish! Granted he had sat up because he thought no-one was going to catch him, but I am claiming the win nonetheless! Great night, really enjoyed the towpath rides this winter, despite the punctures!
