To all the off-roaders in the club.
We are planning on heading to Kilbroney this Sunday 26 Jan 2014.
We need to walk the course for the upcoming Ulster XC Round 1 which is taking place on Sunday 9 March 2014 (just 6 weeks away). Brian has some new sections to show us!!!
So far it is Brian, Lisa and me heading down. We need to bring rakes and bikes. Once we have walked the course (and raked a bit) we can then head out around it on the bikes.
We can then look to do the Red Run etc.
Lunch in the cafe. The club will pay for lunch (or at least some of it TBC!!).
Meet in the car park at 10.

REMINDER - we are meeting up in the car park at Kilbroney at 10am tomorrow.
Brian is showing us around the new XC course. We will be walking this bit with rakes to clear away the twigs and branches that are covering the track.
Afterwards we can then cycle around the course to test it.
Free lunch (on the club) in the cafe.
Optional spin around the Red Route.
NOTE: If you have any membership fees to pay me please bring them along tomorrow.

Many thanks to the team for their hard work today in preparing the cross-country course at Kilbroney.
What started as a wet day setting off from home turned nice at Kilbroney with blue skies and sunshine. We walked the route, raking as we went then back for a great lunch in the cafe before heading out around the course on the bikes.
Thanks to Aidy, Brian, Bryce, Garry W, John S, Lisa, Robert and Peter D, and Paddy.
The course is riding well. I'll need to practice that first new section in order to not hold everyone up!!
I'd imagine I'll be back down on the 9 Feb again.
The event is on 9 March with practice and set up on the 8 March. Please keep this weekend free to help with marshalling, timekeeping, course set up etc.
