What do you think of an end of race season bun run to Oxford Island on Sunday.Possible route Dromara,Banbridge,Criagavon with coffee stop at O.I. Back via Aghalee,Flatfield or opposite way depending on the wind.Works out about three hours and fifty odd mile give or take.

Just the two out today.Martin the man from the mountains and myself headed to Oxford Island via Banbridge/W/town/Bleary/C/avon.Had a quick coffee/scone stop at the best place to be found imo. Then back through Lurgan/M/lin and onto the main road to Dromore.Home with Three hours ride time and fifty odd miles and sitting at the dinner table for the spuds at onepm Now some time off the bike cause im sick of being on it If anyone is interested in doing a weekly training run with 16/17 av on this same route every Sunday over the winter period then put a post on here cause ill be doing it.If theres no interest ill just head on myself from Dromore.

Route sounds good but the same every Sunday!! Think you need to change it a bit. Reckon you just want to get back for the spuds.

Maybe a few different runs but the aim is to wind down an then start buildin again.Goin on the same route gives a better base to build on after Christmas(cant believe we are talkin about Christmas!!) an gets a familiararity in the body. Its only for 3 mths an theres 9 more to rip it up! Hopefully there should be enough for 2 groups an as long as long as the crack is good it wont matter where we go.
Rod...1st Oct is the Paul Mckibben run so probably be doin that .
