Sorry for not being clear. There will only be one more trail quest for the winter 2012/2013 series and it will take place on the 24th.
As next Sunday is Mothering Sunday and the following on is St. Patrick's day, Daft Eddies could not accommodate us.
Thanks for the interest.

Thanks for that. Is there an overall table for the series so far? Is it just the sum of scores on each event or are points awarded based on placings on each event?

This Dromara CC trail quest is the final round of this winters events. This is the final chance to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children. I hope that as many teams as possible will come along to this great venue of Daft Eddies, the scenic countryside and coastline of Strangford Lough to enjoy the event. Alan who is running this event, has gone to a great deal of trouble with landowners etc for this event, so I hope that a lot more of the Dromara CC members, will make the effort o come along. Pre entry is now, open, so please reserve you start time ASAP. Full details on the Dromara website www.dromaracc.co.ukOr email Martin@dromaracc.co.uk or call Trevor on 07714382158

Alan called me. He said he is going ahead with the trail quest on Sunday no matter what.
The weather does look much better on Sunday so hopefully teams can still make it down.

I have it on good authority that there is no snow around Killinchy.

Great day at the trail quest. Many thanks to Alan for organising and to the staff in Daft Eddies' for looking after us. I started the day with a 40 minute dig to get my car out of the snow in our cul-de-sac. Then found rear wheel puncture on my bike. Headed off along clear roads to Belfast, Comber and then to Daft Eddies. Whole different climate down there. Spring! Dry roads, hardly a drop of snow to be seen. And the sun even made an appearance. It was cold though in the easterly wind. Great clues laid out. Stunning scenery. Low turn out as some teams simply couldn't make it.
