Dear all,
After consulting with the race sec.(Chris)we thought it might be an idea to have the normal Sat. club run as the last number of weeks have been poor weather wise.
Our suggestion would be meet as normal, head over to Katesbridge via Ballela (Noels run), for those that want to we could make a contribution to the Wheeelers, and then do a few laps of Annaclone.
How does that sound??

I am doing an airport drop in the morning, half term and all that, if I am out it will only be for a short while, maybe go out early and meet the Sat run at 10 depending on the wind - more likely I'll hit the gym in the afternoon

Dear All, after more consultation the consensus is.......CHANGE OF PLAN
We are going to the Wheelers run.........meet at Annahilt PS @ 8.45am to make sign on. We will do the shorter run and a lap of Annaclone and then home.
Apologies for the confusion.

Need to be back for lunchtime, so doesn't suit me. Meeting at Derryboye for 9.30, if anyone fancies around 40 miles around the back roads of Comber, Ballygowan, Crossgar areas.... 25 average.

My wee lad's rugby team meet Methody in the Medallion Shield tomorrow (if weather doesn't cause postponement) so going to that.
Out Sunday hopefully, please post here your plans for Sunday anyone who is looking a few miles vaguely east of the 'hinch(otherwise might have to join Kaner's run etc).
Have a good run tomorrow lads.
Neil like the average speed your gonna be doing mate. Looking at Niki Terpstra's strava stats for the Tour of Qatar stage, I wonder is cycling cleaner at all - 35.5mph for 87 miles, max speed 51.5mph and it's flat FFS!!!

Currie shouldn't even be racing with amateurs like us!!!!! Put him out in the ras I say . A good wee run out today, me , Gavin, chris, Graeme and the Badger rode over in not ideal conditions. Met Deek , Zako, Ronnie, Trevor W,and Alwynne. Who we still think as one of our own! We did the 43 ml run, brutal wind, rain, hail and sunshine! Trevor hit the deck outside Hilltown, into a pothole we can only guess was left by small meteor!!! Just to help him, Graeme managed to leave a tremendous tyre imprint on his helmet as he couldn't avoid him!!! However that man is hard as the road he hit, back in the saddle and drilled it to Katesbridge. We hope you're not too sore tonight TJ?? Great spread put on by the wheelers as usual and then the long slog home into the wind. Hard day on the bike following the magowan twins !!!!
