Finally, at an Internet enabled device with a proper keyboard...
Many Thanks to all the nice people congratulating me.
Thanks to all the course rakers, tapers and most importantly, designers. Thanks to martin for setting the Juniors off in their own race. Thanks to the sharp rocks which took out a couple of super strong danger men on lap 1. Thanks to nathan and big ring marty for letting me sign on so late. Thanks to all the marshalls for doing a sterling job marshalling and also for a bit of motivation along the way.
As for the event itself, I think all those involved should congratulate each other and pat each other on the back. It was a really well run smooth day. The course was fantastic, you know its good when people moan with a smile on their face at the end about how broken they are. There have been too many flat courses this year and this one definitely put the mountain back in mountain biking.
Well done to all who raced from the club. Some stand out results from John Shanks and Zak in S3, Brian W was doing well until he heard I was struggling and he waited on me to pace me along for a while. Lots of great results in the youth racing too.
