Yes great run today something to keep in mind for the winter run . Se attachment of Bruineill hard work, to much power in that legs ;D ;D . I would just get rid of that derailleur, it's not needed anyway!

East Coast crew headed to Castle Ward to test out the winter training tracks on Ross's advice. First ride on the dark side bike for me since the summer. Hard ride on the fat tyres over and great trails around the estate..much fun, no really much fun, had, some really nice fast technical bits and always somethin to keep you focused, like trees. I for one will be back...Bruyneill ripped his rear derailler off near the end of the first lap, he called international rescue and that left three for the homeward run. ;D My goodness! Trevor certainly had the clues well spread for the trailquest today! Good to see you guys out supporting a club run charity event, even if it meant hopping on an unfamiliar mtb. That,s more than can be said for some so called mtb'ers in the club that I am led to believe were thin on the ground to say the least! Would like to have been there myself but my day with the boys.

Good run on Saturday. It was great to be back out with the club again after a long time. Massimo, Ronnie, Gavin, Chris, 2 Barry's, Stephen W, Ivan, Alwynn, Richard from Phoenix, and me (tried to remember everyone, sorry if I've left anyone out!). Went to Downpatrick, Killyleagh and on to Comber for lovely tea stop (coffee stop in Massimo's case)at the Sugar Cane. Mind you, there seemed to be only one waitress, so some of us were getting our grub when the others were ready to leave, so we did a 'Cynthia' pretty sharpish, and were on our way again in no time. From the teastop on, I was dropping back, so Chris stayed with me and we passed the others, who were stopped to fix a puncture. We kept going and went back by Ballygowan and then took a right onto the backroads, cutting across country, eventually onto the main Lisburn Ballynahinch Road and home. Thanks a million to Chris for letting me sit on his wheel the whole way back and to all the guys for a great run. Alwynn was going really well and I look forward to seeing her out again soon.
