Would anyone have some spare power links to help a female cyclist who has entered the Hilly event but who's chain has just broken tonight?
Please let me know as she will come down toworrow morning early to the sign on in the hope that someone can help her out.
Please post here if you can help.

I have a 10 speed one which i will bring, might have a 9 seed as well but ill have to hoke for it. A new chain is the best option for the hilly.

Superbly organised and absolutely savage sportive... that second ascent of the windy gap was just cruelty.
As for Van Kellets chatter on Spelga. I can only assume he found a second wind from Zaks inspirational murals but I think Jens said it best "can you guys stop talking please, there are people suffering here'.

big thanks to martin, all the marshall, and to all at sign on and tea stop and also to all the other helpers in the planning and organization.....a lot of hard work obviously went into the preparation and running of this event cant say i enjoyed it ( unless in a satistic kind of way ) it was much too brutal for that but i am definately glad i did it and that it is all over now....oh, and i am now volunteering to do the tea stop next year :-)

I was evwn more pumped to get back to find Marty - although I think if I had have shouted any longer in your face I'd have gotten a dig in the chops lol . I didn't die.neh neh neh.

A fantastic day out, albeit a hard one!! I thoroughly enjoyed it considering I was out of breath climbing the stairs a year ago!!!! A big big thanks to Martin and all the helpers and organizers for a superbly run event and for everyone who donated in the collection bucket, will let you know how much I've raised hopefully by the end of the week.

Glad to see I am not referred to as young any more. But seriously... What was all the fuss about?! Great day out and superbly organised. Thanks to Zak for the support ON the road and to Davy chambers waiting on me on the climbs. Those compact chainsets are handy hey. I may get one for next year.
