Any chance of giving Group2 an extra minute on Group3 like last year? I second this! Our relatively small numbers have meant that we've been caught in every race on lap two or three. You "second" this? Don't think voting counts in a dictatorship

I have spoken to the handicap UCI independent fairy who tells me that road conditions, weather conditions, people's improved riding, a reduced scratch group size, an increased group 4 size & magic dust have all been considered and these handicaps have been set so that everyone comes together with 500m to go ;-)
Matthew A, John Shanks and Graham McC are very welcome in Group 4. Just remember upgrades are free but downgrades cost money.
See you all tonight

We are in need of more marshals for tonight.
There are 5 junctions to cover + 3 timekeepers needed.
We have 12 confirmed, but could do with 17/18. If you are reading this and not racing tonight then please consider coming along and helping out.

Great nights hard racing and super win by Stevey.if he's there at the end he's one to watch.thanks to all the helpers for keeping us safe super job.scratch just catching on the home straight so I'd say pretty much spot on with times.sorting times for races isn't easy.you check times, you look at groups and then you make a decision.most of the time it works.a lot of work goes into the prep of these and doing risk assessments etc.then night before it's brushing roads and marking roads.we always thank the helpers on the night but there's a few boys in the background who make this happen every Thursday for the club, big thanks go to them

Have to agree with Chris, background work for these events to take place is immense. If folk disagree, come to the AGM and you will be given a job!! I certainly enjoyed last night , so a big thank you to all those who made it happen and to those who offered their congratulations (even if it was through gritted teeth:). Thanks to Noel for sorting my new Planet X tubs, what an endorsement.....one race one win:).
One last point. While we were all enjoying riding our bikes last night, unfortunately club member and friend Davy McClurg, had his mother's funeral yesterday. We are all thinking of you Davy.
