Ok folks the time is nigh..... Bus is LEAVING Square one on Saturday morning at 7.30, as the riders didnt get much of a warm up last year. We have hired the bus for the whole day/night. After the race there will be a few beers and grub in Weatherspoons, before heading home, possibility of visiting Jimmy Johnstone . We have had to hire a larger bus this year and the cost , as with everything is up. It will be £25 per person, which isn't too bad to Enniskillen. Please bring suitable sheets , bungees etc to cover your bike and protect the seats. Front wheels removed also. As we have a larger bus this year, the members who are travelling can bring their bikes if they wish. If you are racing don't forget to bring your entry fee for Tommy, £12. Zako, does your Da have the magnetic signs ? Other than that........ team talk and race tactics on the bus, then its everyman for himself at the whistle lol

Brilliant day today, day started a bit stressful with the bus breaking down just out augher, time was slowly ticking away until the sign on closing time, but the bus arrived and we got there in time. sign on was quick and chris, zak and myself went for a quick warm up to have look at the finish. we just got back in time for the rolling start. we actually didnt even know the race had started until people were shouting race on. the pace was high from the of but it was comfortable, we tried to stay in the top 20 to stay safe. about 15 mile in chris went for a break, he stayed out for about 10 minutes with a few others before he was caught. at this point we knew it was going to be a sprint finish. we hit the climb and the pace was quite slow because of the cross wind. on the way up zak was knocked in to my rear wheel and went down but luckily he was up and okay apart from the cuts. we kept going and went down the decent quickly. there was a fast run in to the finish. chris lit things up for the finish and split the group to pieces, i went for the sprint but sadly was just pipped to the line. the lead out was insane, he had the acceleration like a motorbike. a massive thanks has to go to him for my 2nd place and my upgrade to A2. in the A4 race the boys rode well with stevie printing well to gain a 2nd place. gary came in just behind him in 5th beating last years placing. the rest of the boys all finished strongly in the group. after the race we all headed to weatherspoons where there was alot of drink taken and really good grub eaten. brilliant day out, already looking forward to next year

Cheers all for organising a great day out, lads put in a strong performance in all categories.
We need a strong female to represent us now. I'm sure there is one in the club somewhere.
Roll on the next race!!
