Brilliant night at the races. First time for me. Really enjoyed it. Thanks to Deek & Zak for organising and to the guys for running it.
Great turn out from the club. Thanks to all who contributed to the raffle. (I won a prize!!!)
Great auction as well. Seems a chap was VERY determined to purchase a certain jersey!
Music and all laid on afterwards. Final figures not in yet but over £1000 raised for club funds.
One downside to the night was seeing Ronnie bolting out the door after he heard his daughter was in a car accident. Just spoke with Ronnie. Seems his daughter hit black side and slide through a hedge, big drop into a field. She was trapped in the car for a time. She was very lucky as on either side of the car were trees and she had managed to slide between them, missing a steel gate as well. She has no serious injuries, bruised and battered and naturally traumatized. Car not too bad. TGFT Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Good to hear no serious injuries, scary stuff! We just presumed someone said it was Ronnie's round when we saw him bolting. Seriously though, glad all's well. A bit of pampering from mum & dad should do the trick.
